About me
In my time, I have worked as:
- an assistant zookeeper
- a zoologist
- and (briefly) an assistant chef.
There will be stories about this at some time.
However, what I like to do most is to travel and study cetaceans in the wild. I have studied river dolphins in India (Platanista gangetica) and in tributaries of the Orinoco in Venezuela (Inia geoffrensis). I have seen dolphins in the Stait of Gibraltar, Clearwater (Florida), Australia and the Red Sea, beaked whales in the Bay of Biscay and humpback whales in Greenland.
My various jobs have left me little time to travel and have all been based in the laboratory, so I decided to quit and concentrate once again on what I love. Ah, and on writing too!
